Otus, a leading K-12 student data, assessment, and insights solution, is proud to announce it has been named a Tech & Learning's Best of Show Award winner at ISTELive 2025. This annual award recognizes edtech tools that are transforming classrooms through innovative design, practical impact, and meaningful results for students and educators.
Tech & Learning judges evaluated nominated products based on ease of use, value, uniqueness in the market, and their ability to make teachers’ lives easier while supporting student achievement. The winners were recognized during a celebration at ISTELive 2025, held this year in San Antonio.
Otus was selected for its ability to simplify decision-making through AI-enhanced data and assessment tools, giving educators the clarity they need to support every student. The company also recently announced a strategic partnership with Discovery Education, the global leader in standards-aligned digital curriculum. Through this collaboration, Otus has become Discovery Education’s preferred platform for assessment, data, and learning insights. The partnership empowers schools to analyze assessment results from programs like DreamBox Math and Mystery Science alongside district-level metrics, all in one place.
"Otus stands out for its comprehensive, AI-enhanced data and assessment tools that help educators make smarter decisions with speed and clarity,” said judges. “Its integration with Discovery Education greatly broadens its reach and impact."
At the ISTELive + ASCD Annual Conference 2025, Otus joined Discovery Education to host a series of sessions that gave educators a behind-the-scenes look at how real classrooms are shaping the future of edtech. From rethinking grading practices to making assessment data more actionable, attendees walked away with strategies, insights, and tools they could immediately use in their schools.
These sessions also reflected the broader innovations Otus introduced this year. The launch of the Otus AI Advisory Board brought together K-12 educators from across the country to guide the responsible development of AI-powered tools. Otus also expanded its reach through new partnerships with FIRST Educational Resources and The Math Learning Center, reinforcing its mission to help educators turn data into meaningful action.
"This recognition means a lot to our team, especially at a time when schools are balancing so many demands. We have focused on building a platform that is intuitive, powerful, and built to serve real classroom needs. Whether it is using AI to group students for targeted instruction or connecting assessment data across systems, Otus gives educators the insights they need–when they need them–to support every learner."
