Otus, a leader in K-12 student growth data solutions, is delighted to announce that it has been named to Inc. Magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list. This prestigious award honors companies that excel in creating outstanding company cultures, whether operating in a physical or virtual facility. The recognition highlights Otus’ dedication to cultivating a supportive work environment, enriching the workplace in the face of adversity, and fostering employee growth and advancement at all levels.

Since its launch in 2016, Otus has been used by educators to optimize learning and maximize student growth for over 1 million students nationwide. The all-in-one platform saves educators time by integrating traditional and standards-based grading, assessment, progress monitoring, data-driven instruction, and more. Otus is largely comprised of former educators, with each member of the Otus support team having an average of 12 years of teacher or administrator experience in K-12 education.

“At Otus, we have always believed that our success is deeply rooted in the passion and talent of our team members,” said Chris Hull, Otus co-founder and president. “Our culture is built on trust, collaboration, and a genuine dedication to improving the educational landscape. We are truly honored to receive this recognition from Inc. Magazine and are proud to create an environment where employees feel valued and empowered.”

The Inc. Best Workplaces Award recipients are determined through the Quantum Workplace Best Places to Work survey, which assesses employee satisfaction and benefits. Otus’s achievement in this ranking reflects the company’s commitment to fostering a workplace where people love to work and grow professionally.

“As an educator, I always sought to provide my students with the best possible learning experience,” said Kendell Hunter, a former educator, and current product marketing manager at Otus. “Now, as part of the Otus team, I have the unique opportunity to impact education on a larger scale. It’s incredibly rewarding to work for a company that shares my passion for education and provides a supportive and inclusive environment where I can continue to grow.”

By employing experienced former educators and allowing valuable user feedback to drive product development, Otus has successfully created a platform that simplifies K-12 student data management and provides meaningful insights for educators, administrators, and families. The Inc. Best Workplaces Award serves as a testament to the company’s commitment to revolutionizing education while nurturing a workplace that encourages growth and empowers employees. Otus will be featured in the May/June print issue of Inc. Magazine.
