Grade weighting is used when educators want certain assignments to be worth more than others. For example, it may be helpful to give tests more of an impact on a student's grade than quizzes. This can be accomplished by applying different weights to the appropriate assessment categories in the gradebook settings.

Join this Otus Live professional development session to get an understanding of how to apply grade weighting to various assessments.  It is important to note that grade weighting is only available in the assessments gradebook view and applies to points-based assessments only.
