Otus for Teaching and Learning - Camp Otus
By: Kendell Hunter
Camp Otus is an opportunity to learn more about a series of features in Otus over a 5-week period. Sessions are designed to explore Otus in small chunks so each week’s new learning builds on the previous session.
In the Otus for Teaching and Learning cohort of Camp Otus, educators will learn how Otus can be used to deliver instruction and communicate with students.
Session 1: Communicate with students and family using the Otus Class Board.

Session 2: Create a Lesson and add activities.

Session 3: Continue exploring Otus Lessons and learn how to assign a Lesson to Classes.

Session 4: Preview the student experience with Otus Lessons and review how teachers and/or administrators can track student progress and Lesson completion in real-time.

Session 5: Learn how students can add artifacts to their Otus Portfolio and how to create/assign Recognitions as a teacher.
