Customize Mode Calculation in the Otus Gradebook

In Otus, educators can tailor how grades are calculated to best reflect their district’s grading practices and instructional goals. The Customize Mode Calculation feature allows users to adjust how assessments contribute to overall performance, providing flexibility in weighting and calculation methods. This ensures grades align with both standards-based and traditional grading models.  In this Otus Live PD session, educators will learn how to set up and manage customized grade calculations, explore different grading modes, and understand how each impacts the Gradebook view for teachers, students, and families. Participants will gain insight into best practices for creating a grading system that supports accuracy, transparency, and consistency across classrooms.
