Three Key Benefits of Bridges Assessments in Otus

Assessment and Grading Features

The work and the process of answering math questions are just as important as the answer. Students can complete Bridges screeners, checkpoints and work samples, unit assessments, interviews, and BRINT in Otus. To maintain the integrity of paper-pencil assessments, Otus has multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank questions, math keypads so students can create fractions, equations, and expressions, a scribble tool, and more. To save educators time, Otus will auto-score certain question types and give you the flexibility of adjusting any auto-scored questions.

Exploring the Gradebook

All assessment data seamlessly integrates into the Otus Gradebook and can be customized to align with your district's grading scale and standards. Educators can see an overall score for the assessment and the progress towards each learning standard the assessment was aligned to.

Viewing Data Analytics

With Otus, educators can view all student data in one place, including data from Bridges and Number Corner® assessments. Assessment data can also be viewed alongside other student data, such as state and national test results, for a more complete picture of student progress. This allows for efficient analysis of what students already understand, what they’re working on, and where they still need support. Educators can use this data to adjust instruction responsively and make informed decisions.

Otus is a dynamic digital assessment platform that allows Bridges students to display their problem-solving strategies while giving teachers the information they need to make instructional decisions. Request a personalized demo to learn more about Bridges assessments and Otus.
