Otus Joins Google for Education Partner Program to Support K-12 School Communities

Chicago-based Otus has joined a select group of Google partners as part of the Google for Education Partner Program. The Google for Education Partner Program is for companies who create products that integrate with Google for Education tools, including G Suite for Education, Google Classroom, and Chrome in a way that inspires teachers to inspire curiosity and for students to discover and learn together.

Otus is the first edtech platform built from the ground up to incorporate learning, assessment, data, and classroom management tools within a single system eliminating the chaos associated with using several disconnected systems for teaching and learning.

Otus will leverage this partnership to enhance and expand its current integrations with Google, all of which are available now:

  • Single-Sign on with Google credentials
  • Ability to access Google Drive directly within Otus
  • Ability for teachers to distribute unique copies of Google Docs and Slides to students
  • Google Chrome extension to quickly add any web-based resource to the Otus Bookshelf

“There is no doubt that Google is a dominant presence in K-12 schools around the world. Over the past year, we have seen how important it is for edtech companies to work together in order to help teachers and students be efficient. So the time spent together can be used as intended to be used: to learn and grow.”
